Get to know us

It started in 1985. Picture a classroom, two 3rd graders, and a teacher’s introduction that sparked a 40-year friendship. From weddings and kids to the beautiful chaos of neurodivergent life, we’ve been inseparable—like two peas in a pod (which is exactly why you’ll find sweet peas in our logo).

For years, we dreamed of building something together. Krikit & Crab was born out of burnout, daydreams, and a deep-seated need for creativity that actually meant something. We aren't just selling scents; we’re sharing the friendship and "fire" we’ve poured into every hand-poured batch. We’re two best friends who decided that life is too short for boring fragrances and corporate polish.

Our mission

Our mission is simple: to help you light up your life—naturally and unapologetically. We aim to provide sustainable, high-quality home fragrances that help you romanticize the little moments, reclaim your space, and turn the "everyday" into something worth lighting a match for. Whether you’re unwinding from the chaos or trying to find your focus, we’re here to help you breathe again.

Our vision

We believe your environment is a tool for empowerment. Our vision is to create a world where home fragrance is a soulful ritual rather than just a product. By using natural, renewable soy wax and eco-conscious ingredients, we envision a cleaner, kinder way to get cozy. We’re building a brand that leaves a lighter footprint on the planet while leaving a lasting impression on your mood, helping everyone find grounded comfort in a world that often feels a little too loud.

Our team

We are Kristen and Casey—two "neurospicy" moms, best friends, and fragrance nerds based right here in Niagara. As neurodivergent women raising neurodivergent kids, we have a literal "sense" for how scent impacts focus, calm, and creativity. We’re the ones behind the late-night brainstorms, the spilled wax, and the small-batch magic. We lead with honesty, a sprinkle of chaos, and the belief that the best things in life are handmade with intention (and maybe a little bit of PG-13 humor).
