Refund & Return Policy
Because even the best noses have off days.
We want you to love what you ordered. If your Krikit and Crab goodies arrived damaged, defective, or just not what you expected, here’s how we handle returns and refunds.
🚚 Returns
Due to the nature of our handmade, small-batch products, we do not accept returns for scent preference or change of heart. Fragrance is personal (and noses can be picky!), so we always recommend trying a smaller item first if you’re unsure.
That said, we’re real people with hearts (and a lot of soy wax), so if something arrived damaged or genuinely isn’t right, please let us know.
Eligible returns will be accepted within 14 days of delivery for damaged or incorrect items. To start a return, email us at hello@krikitandcrabcandlecompany.com with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the item(s)
- A short description of the issue
Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
🕯️ Damaged or Defective Items
If your candle showed up looking like it went through a heatwave or a hockey fight, we’re so sorry! Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we’ll send a replacement or refund—your choice.
💸 Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once your request is reviewed and approved. Please allow 3–5 business days after approval for the refund to show up
📦 Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Disliking the scent (we totally get it—but noses are subjective!)
- Used candles or wax melts
- Sale or clearance items
- Custom or personalized orders
- Digital downloads (like scent cards or guides)
